The location was also great, with plenty of nearby attractions to visit.
The hotel had a somewhat dark and creepy atmosphere, which may not be to everyone's taste. , some areas of the hotel felt a bit tacky.

The hotel was conveniently located near a bus stop with direct access to Edinburgh. There were a few restaurants within walking distance and a few attractions nearby. the room was comfortable and had all the necessary amenities for an enjoyable stay. the service was attentive and friendly, and the breakfasts were tasty and filling.
One aspect of the hotel could use improvement. the decor was a bit overwhelming and some of the furnishings were starting to show their age.

What a gem of a place to spend the holidays! I was delighted with the beautiful surroundings of the countryside which was perfect for a tranquil getaway. The friendly and warm welcome of the staff made me feel right at home. The breakfast was exceptional, with lots of choices to choose from. The hotel's location was very convenient, not far from Edinburgh, which meant there were plenty of things to do, from shopping to sightseeing. I also loved the fact that the hotel provides a range of free amenities such as high-speed Wi-Fi, a car park and comfortable rooms to unwind in.
Honestly, I can't think of anything negative to say about this wonderful place! The only downside was that I couldn't extend my stay longer due to my hectic schedule.

This place is insanely cool! The host, Jude, is the absolute bomb - so friendly and welcoming. The room was unreal, with a super comfy four poster bed and a massive bathroom. Breakfast was the bomb diggity, had everything we could ever want. Highly recommend and would definitely come back if we were in the area. Special shoutout to Jude for upgrading us to a sick room with a killer view for our honeymoon. The place was squeaky clean, had awesome amenities like free wi-fi and a flat-screen TV, and it's conveniently close to a bus stop. Can't recommend this jaw-dropping place enough - it's the bee's knees!
